THE UNIVERSITY OF PAPUA NEW GUINEA (Port Moresby) VACANCY APPLICATIONS are invited from suitably qualified persons for the post of: CO-ORDINATOR, DIPLOMA IN MAGISTERIAL STUDIES (P.101013/84) (Law Faculty) Applications are called for from qualified persons to take up appointment in early February 1984 as Co-ordinator of the Diploma in Magisterial Studies (Senior Lecturer/Lecturer level) in the Faculty of Law. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching practically orientated courses as well as co-ordinat-ing the Diploma in Magisterial Studies. This is a two year programme aimed at the improved training of Magistrates. SALARY: Lecturer Grade 1—K16.020 per annum plus gratuity. Lecturer Grade 2—K17,870 per annum plus gratuity Senior Lecturer—Kl9,72o per annum plus gratuity. OTHER CONDITIONS: The successful applicant will be offered a contract for a three year appointment. The gratuity entitlement is based on 24 per cent of salary earned and is payable In installments or lump sum and is taxed at a flat rate of 2 per cent.
