The Administration Manager, one of three managers reporting to the Executive Director, heads a team of ten people responsible for the total office management, including conference organisation, co-ordination and liaison for wide-ranging office and field duties involving international activities, reception and hospitality of visitors and tour groups, the maintenance and control of property and equipment and the organisation of the national biscuit and engagement book campaigns. The role demands sound experience in organisation and management, coupled with leadership and interpersonal skills to develop a high level of communication and co-opera-tion between groups. The depth of involvement with international personnel, national committees, provincial and field personnel, dictates that applicants should have an empathy for yough work and preferably service in the Guide Association.
