Final championship winners of the 70th annual Canterbury Countrywide senior croquet tournament, which ended at the Fendalton green on Wednesday, are: Canterbury senior championship: G. Beale 1, runner-up, Mrs W. R. Wiggins. Levels championship: Mrs R. Osmond, runner-up, Mrs E. Noy. women’s championship: Mrs W. R. Wiggins; runner-up Mrs T. Thompson. Men’s championship: Mr G.
Beale; runner-up, C. Jones.
Handicap singles: G. Beale; runner-up, Mrs T. Thompson. Senior championship doubles: Miss B. Lewis and Mrs R. Richardson; runner-up, G. Beale and Mrs G. Watson.
Intermediate championship doubles: Mrs E. Woodhead and Mrs C. Dolheguy, runner-up, Miss M. Wright and Mrs A. McMillan.
Intermediate championship singles: J. Fraser and Mrs M. Scott (Ashburton).
