Man’s body recovered
The body of a man swept to sea near the Rangitata rivermouth earlier this week was recovered on Thursday evening. The man was
Brewer Kennaird Scott, aged 56, a farmer, of Mayfield.
Mr Scott was swept to sea while fishing near the rivermouth on Wednesday morning. His body was recovered by the Temuka police about 2% kilometres south of the rivermouth about 9 p.m. after it was sighted in the sea.
