Lake Benmore area restoration
Sir,—We recently returned from our annual holiday at Lake Benmore, near Ohau C dam. We and three friends were grateful to the Ministry of Works engineers for endeavouring to restore as near as possible the pleasant surroundings of this spot. The provision of toilets and water on tap were much appreciated. We will always be grateful for the foresight of Max Smith. — Yours, etc..
