NZPA Sydney An improving trend in gold and base metal prices helped rising share prices outnumbr falls by nearly two to one in moderate trading on Australian sharemarkets yesterday.
The All Ordinaries Index was 2 points higher at 737.0, the All Resources Index had put on 2.5 points to 567.2, while the All Industrials Index was 1.3 points firmer at 950.4.
