No penalty for winner
Handsome Heir, the winner of the South Australian Jockey Club Handicap at Riccarton yesterday, has not been rehandicapped for the New Zealand Cup on Saturday. Under the special conditions surrounding the winners after declaration of weights, Handsome Heir’s winning stake yesterday did not exceed the $4OOO minimum which is liable to a rehandicap.
