The convicted Chinatown massacre “mastermind” Willie Mak, has moved one step closer to death row when Judge Frank Howard formally imposed the death sentence Mak’s jury decreed. The defence lawyers who represented Mak at trail immediately told the court a formal notice of appeal was being filed with the state Supreme Court. — Seattle
