NZPA Perth The firebrand fast bowler, Dennis Lillee, has joined forces with the captain, Kim Hughes, to help Western Australia win cricket’s Sheffield Shield this summer. In a remarkable turn-
about, Lillee, a long-time critic of Hughes, has accepted the job of W.A. vicecaptain.
The 34-year-old Lillee told the chairman of selectors, Allan Edwards, he was happy to take the position.
