Racey Tracey wins
Racey Tracey qualified for intermediate class races at the New Zealand Cup meeting when she overcame an early break to win the Colgate Palmolive Handicap at Addington Raceway last evening. She was well back early, as was the favourite, Poor Boy, another to break badly,' but improved on the home turn and maintained a determined run to the finish, where she had a short length to spare. Poor Boy came solidly for second, shading Roy Hall and Cathy Crockett, another to lose ground in an early break.
