Public Service salaries
Sir, — The changes to the State Services Conditions of Employment Act, being considered by Parliament must be defeated. If the changes do become law, one of the many effects could be that the Government will use the Public Service pay-fixing system to restrict or regulate salaries and wages for all of the work force. Please note that this will come into effect when the current wage freeze is lifted. — Yours, etc.,
