BETTING
PA Wellington Bets with the T.A.B. on the Manawatu Racing Club’s meeting at Awapuni yesterday totalled $1,474,288 (win and place $638,490, doubles, $230,375, and quinellas $360,053 and trebles $245,370). The total was up $209,469 on last year’s figure. On-course betting amounting to $254,460 was up $33,317.
