Hotel strike continues
PA Auckland A strike at the DB Royal International Hotel in Auckland seems likely to enter its second week. A conciliation meeting which lasted more than eight hours yesterday failed to find a solution.
The strike at the hotel began in protest against the dismissal of a chef, a waiter, and a dining room manager. The company has agreed to reinstate those dismissed.
