Summer road running events
The annual St Martins 15mile handicap road running race has been dropped from the Canterbury Road Running Committee’s programme for this summer, and replaced by a scratch half-marathon.
The committee has also changed the distance of the annual Lincoln Lope 10km race to 15km.

Westland marathon; December 10, Lincoln Lope 15km; December 17, Royal Family of Mountains.
December 26, Hokianga 10km; January 7, Ashburton 10km; January 14, Soleares Avenue hill climb; January 21, Rangiora 20 mile; February 5, Highland Games 11km, Addington Showgrounds; February 6, Boulder Bay classic 16km;’ February 15, Graded championships 20km; February 25, Canterbury marathon championship; March 3, Pebble relay; March 10, Teddington-Dia-mond Harbour handicap race; March 17, Aorangi half marathon and fun run, Timaru; March 24, New Brighton 50 mile; April 1, Picnic fun run, Orton Bradley Park; April 21, Mt Hutt marathon.
