Non competitive bids (but not competitive bids) will also be received until 12.00 noon on 8 September 1983 at P.O. Box 10254, The Terrace, Wellington, New Zealand. A bid for Government Stock in this Tender will be accepted only if made on the bid form intituled "Bid Form for Government Stock” attached to the Prospectus for the fender of New Zealand Government Stock dated 23 August 1983. CLOSING TIME FOR BIDS The closing time for the bids is 12.00 noon, 8 September 1983. THE SETTLEMENT ARRANGEMENTS Successful competitive bids issue of New Zealand Government Stock offered in this tender must subject to minimum subscription requirements, before 2pm on any banking day within the settlement period. (The settlement period is the 28 days following the date of the announcement of the tender results). For non competitive bids, a bank cheque equal to the full face value of New Zealand Government Stock for which a bid was made must accompany the bid at the time it is lodged. The settlement price for successful non competitive bids will be determined as at the first day of the settlement period. Should this price be less than the face value of Government Stock for which a successful bid was made, refunds will be made as soon as possible. In the event of the settlement price of the Government Stock exceeding face value, the balance of the settlement price must be paid to the branch of the Reserve Bank where the bid was made, within 14 days of the announcement of tender results.
