Medical report awaited
PA Wellington A report on the second post-mortem examination of the drugs boss, Alexander James Sinclair, was not yet complete, said the AttorneyGeneral, Mr McLay, yesterday.
Sinclair, also known as
Terence John Clark, collapsed and died on August 12 at Pankhurst Prison on the Isle of Wight. A second post-mortem examination of the convicted murderer was conducted by Professor Hugh Johnson of St Thomas’s
Hospital at the request ol the New Zealand Government.
. Mr McLay said that Professor Johnson had completed his physical examination of Sinclair’s body but could not present a final report until certain tests had been carried out.
“When a report is received I will make a brief statement as to the outcome,” Mr McLay said.
