PA Napier The member of Parliament for Napier, Mr Geoff Braybrooke, has been unopposed in his bid to retain the seat for the Labour Party.
Mr Braybrooke, a first termer, was the only nomination as Labour candidate for the Napier seat. Nominations for Labour candidates in seats for Hawke’s Bay and the new Waikaremoana seats opened today and will close on September 30.
