Exhibition attendance
More than 20,000 people had visited the House and Garden Exhibition at the Canterbury Court by last evening.
The exhibition, which opened on Saturday, includes a wide range of home and garden products made by 70 Canterbury companies. It is organised by the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association’s Mancan, Ltd. The director of the association, Mr I. D. Howell, said that by the time the exhibition closed today at 5.30 p.m., it was expected that more than 25,00 people would have attended.
