Death probe
A white police officer has been suspended in connection with the death of a' black suspect, aged 24, shot dead in a police station, said the South African police commissioner. General Johann Coetzee said that the officer would remain suspended until the police had completed an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting of Pares Molefe Malatje in Soweto. — Pretoria.
