Auction raises $219,000
PA Hamilton A total of $219,350 was raised at the Matamata Racing Club’s stallion services auction on Saturday. Highest price was the $lOO,OOO Melbourne visitor, Dr Lister Catchlove, paid for the service nomination to Sir Tristram. Dr Catchlove also paid the second top price of $37,500 for the service nomination to Zephyr Bay. The proceeds of the auction will be used for the Matamata Breeder’s Stakes next February.
