The appointee will be responsible for the day to day administration and instruction, of staff in this four theatre suite and the 11 bed recovery unit, covering most types of surgery except cardlothoracic and neurosurgery. The unit is modern and very well provided for with back-up facilities of all types, that is, C.S.S.D., Crothall’s cleaning, etc. The position requires the appointee to be a RCpN or RGON. A diploma in Nursing or equivalent post-basic qualification and wide experience of all types of surgery is desirable. Previous experience of theatre administration is essential.
