Bowenvale reticulation
Sir,—The Heathcote County Council’s electrical engineer, Mr Densem, says that Bowenvale residents have enjoyed tidy reticulation for 18 years. Put another way, it could be said that Bowenvale residents have suffered ugly great concrete poles for that period in order to spare Cashmere the indignity of those poles and heavy wiring, for the feeding of Sugarloaf. The promise to place the wiring underground over 10 years did not state “except Bowenvale Avenue.”— Yours, etc., E. R. MIDGLEY. July 7, 1983.
