Honkin Del, the former South Island juvenile pacer, won her second race from as many starts in Australia after leading all the way in the $20,000 Waratah Stakes at Harold Park, Sydney, on Friday evening. The brilliant Honkin Andy filly, starting 9-to-4 on favourite returned a mile rate of 2min 6.3 s for the 1960 m in beating Rolean Impa byseven metres, with a further nine metres back to Great Ambition third.

Honkin Del, which in her race debut at Ashburton in February won by eight lengths oyer a mile in a swift 2min 2.7 s then was •placed twice from standing
