Aust. jobs toll
Australia’s unemployment fell 27,500 in June to dip below 700,000 for the first time since January, according to Australian Bureau of Statistics figures. In June there were 691,000 Australians out of work including 612,000 looking for full-time work and 79,000 looking for part-time jobs. This represented a fall from 10.3 to 10 per ®nt of the work force.—Canberra.
