S. SHADBOLT, TIKAO BAY to discharge up to 20 cubic metres of treated sewage effluent per day onto a grassed and benched land area for disposal by evapotranspiration, in circumstances which result in that effluent or any other waste emanating as a result of natural prcceses from that effluent entering streams and groundwater, Tikao Bay. Treatment: septic tanks, sand filters and overland flow. Replacing right NCY 800337. 5127 - V. S. SHADBOLT, TIKAO BAY to discharge 12 cubic metres of septic tank effluent per day into the Tikao Bay Stream in emergency overflow situations only following failure of both pumps within a dual pumping system. Replacing right NCY 800338. 5128 - J. A. FRANCIS, CHARING CROSS to take 4400 cubic metres of water per day at the rate of 53 litres per second from a 300 mm well, 117 metres deep on property. BARNES, SPOTSWOOD to take 1266 cubic metres of water per day, 18 days per month at the rate of 29.3 litres per second from the Waiau River at property, S.H. No. 1, for spray irrigation purposes. BARNES, SPOTSWOOD to take 511 cubic metres of water per day, 12 days per month at the rate of 12 litres per second from 1 305 mm well, 9 metres deep on property, S.H. DALZELL, CULVERDEN to take 22,275 cubic metres of water per day, 15 days per irrigation season at the rate of 258 litres per second from Hurunul River at property, Pahau Reserve Road, for border dyke irrigation purposes. Replacing right NCY 750019. 5132 - AMURI COUNTY COUNCIL. HANMER SPRINGS to take up to 2600 cubic metres of geothermal water per day at the rate of 30 litres per second from a 250 mm well approximately 100 metres deep in Queen Mary Hospital grounds, for use in the thermal pool complex and as a heat source for pools using treated town supply water. Replacing right NCY 750337. 5133 - AMURI COUNTY COUNCIL, HANMER SPRINGS to discharge up to 2600 cubic metres of water per day into an upper tributary drain of the Percival River, after use in the thermal pool complex. Replacing right NCY 750338 5134 - AMURI COUNTY COUNCIL, HANMER SPRINGS to discharge 513 cubic metres of disinfected and filtered swimming pool water, at the rate of 7.6 litres per second into an upper tributary drain of the Percival River, twice yearly, during pool emptying for cleaning purposes. Replacing right NCY 750339. 5135 - MINISTER OF WORKS AND DEVELOPMENT, CULVERDEN to discharge up to 138,240 cubic metres of stormwater, springwater and Irrigation drainage water per day at the rate of 1.6 cubic metres per second into the Pahau River from an improved land drainage system consisting of a deepened and realigned watercourse and a proposed field tile drainage system, at Pahau Reserve Road. 5136 - J. F. GALLAGHER, GLENTUI to take 3146 cubic metres of water per day at the rate of 38 litres per second from a proposed sunken gallery within the Ashley River Gravels at “Rakahurl” property, for spray irrigation purposes. SUBMISSIONS AND OBJECTIONS The above application may be examined at the office of the North Canterbury Catchment Board, corner Latimer Square and Worcester Street, Christchurch, during office hours. Any body or person may at any time within 28 days of this notice lodge with the Board written submissions on any applications or an objection to any application. Every objection shall be on the ground that the grant of the application would prejudice the objector’s interests or the interests of the public generally and shall be made in writing setting out the grounds on which the objector relies. Every objection shall be supported by a statutory declaration verifying the contents thereof.
