Crump advert, wins awards
A Toyota television commercial featuring Barry Crump and Lloyd Scott won two awards at the F.A.C.T.S. (Federation of Australian Commercial Television Stations) awards presentation in Melbourne on Thurs : day night. The Toyota New Zealand, Ltd, advertisement, entitled “Hi-Lux” and produced by Colenso Communications, won a TVNZ-sponsored trophy for the best New Zealand commercial of the
year. It also won the award for the best advertisement for cars and trucks. Other New Zealand successes at the ceremony were: Media: Best of category — “New Zealand Truth,” “Chains,” produced by Ogilvy and Mather N.Z., Ltd. The TVNZ award: Highly commended — New Zealand Tourist and Publicity, “Don’t Leave Town,” pro-
duced by Colenso Communications. Highly commended — Griffins, “Minties Moments,” by Thompson Advertising.
Automotive accessories: Highly commended — Ricon Developments, “Foldaway Trailers,” by Mainstream Advertising.
Home and office furnishings: Highly commended — Vision Wall Coverings, Ltd, “Vision Wall Covering.” by Paladin Advertising.
