Charteris Bay B upset Tai Tapu B in the sixth round of the Patterson Cup (Peninsula zone) golf competition at Tai Tapu on Sunday to leave the championship wide open with the final round at Charteris Bay this Sunday. Progress points (with individual games shown in parentheses) are: Charteris Bay A 4% (26%), Charteris Bay B 4 (28), Tai Tapu B 4 (27%), Akaroa A 4 (26), Tai Tapu A 3 (22), Akaroa B 2% (22%), Richmond Hill 2 (24%), Kaituna 0 (15).
