Rape report
Sir,—l agree with Tom Vavasour (June 23) when he states that the basis of a jury is impartiality. Surely the all-male jury, as seen in many past rape trials, cannot be impartial. Half the population is female; therefore, a true representation consists of equal numbers of both sexes. — Yours, etc., J. IVERSEN. June 23, 1983.
