Ray Rogers of Birkenhead, Auckland, is the winner of the $3OOO 1983 Fletcher Brownbuilt Pottery Award. ' . Mr Rogers’ piece, titled “Fungoid Form,” is a pitfired sphere. It won the award from more than 300 entries from 10 countries. Three previous winners of the award were included in this year’s merit awards. Other awards went to Itsumi Ito and Midori Amano of Japan, Royce McGlashen of Nelson, and John Sweden of Albany.
