Lineman hurt
An Ashburton lineman is seriously ill in the intensivecare unit of Christchurch Hospital after a concrete pole he was working on snapped on Thursday morning. The man, John Phillip Neilson, was on a ladder next to the pole on an industrial back section in Tinwald.
