L.P.G. tanks survive heat
Liquefied petroleum gas cylinders were in the path of South Australia’s February bushfires and survived the flames. About 300 cylinders were exposed to direct flames during the bushfires, in
some cases for long periods. None of the cylinders exploded, and in all cases safety relief valves correctly took care of gas pressure build-up, according to checks made by South Australian gas authorities.
