Ecuador floods
The Ecuadorean Government has declared a state of emergency in its capital, Quito, after floods caused by heavy rains. A Government spokesman said that rains over the past few days had caused about SUSI million damage. Much of Ecuador has been lashed since last November by heavy rains, which have caused severe floods and landslides.—guito.
