Mr Bill Henry, helped by friend Goofy, raises a green flag at Michael O’Brien and Company, Ltd, in Wairakei Road yesterday to commemorate St Patrick’s Day. Mr Henry, who has been raising the flag each year for the last 48 years, is continuing a tradition that was started by the founder of the company, Mr Michael O’Brien, in 1862 on his arrival from Ireland.
