Sir, — I particularly enjoyed P. R. Simenson’s letter, (March 9). Dealing with its subject in a few words it seemed to express more than M. Creel has done in thousands of his on that and other subjects. Just as a passing thought are there any white cricketers in the Commonwealth in the so-called “coloured countries"? If so they seem to be escaping the notice of the selectors as successfully as any black cricketer or footballer in South Africa. — Yours, etc., J. NEE. March 9, 1983.
