Australian election
Television New Zealand’s controller of programming, Mr Des Monaghan, announced yesterday that TVNZ will provide special coverage of the Australian election results on Saturday night on One. Reports will begin shortly after the polls close with brief bulletins at the end of the movie on Ope
(about 10.20 p.m.) and after “Entertainment This Week” at about 11.15. After “Callan” at 12.10 a.m. there will be a special news bulletin of 10 to 15 minutes.
On Sunday, March 6, the normal news bulletin on One at midday will be extended to 10 minutes.
