NZPA Johannesburg The neo-Nazi Afrikaner Weerstands Bewegung (Afrikaner Resistance Movement) has called on South African whites to unite in defence of their privileges, which it sees as threatened by reforms according some political power to Coloured (mixedrace) people and Indians. The reform would lead to an abandonment of “white sovereignty” to Muslim Coloureds and Indians, who had “less than 1 per cent white blood” in their veins. It is "the Lslamic faith, and not Communism, which is the greatest threat to the world.” he said.

The movement last year called for voting rights to be withdrawn from some 128,000 Jews in South Africa.
