N.I. yacht race
PA Auckland Seven more yachts in the two-man Rbund-the-North Island race reached Devonport yesterday. Rob Carpenter and Simon Willis sailed Nuki-Wai across the finish line at 5.51 a.m. NukiWai thus edged out Regardless (John and Heather Lidgard). the previous leader on handicap.
She also leads the third division. Thrasher (Graeme Goodchap, Allan Trevor) from Tauranga, in second place, is the onlv other third division boat to have finished. Last evening the rest of the fleet was stretched from the Coromandel Peninsula across the Bay of Plenty to Tolaga Bay.
