Englishmen stay put
NZPA London The Scots and Welsh leave their homelands in droves, but the Englishman tends to stay put, according to a Government survey. The survey, based on 1981 census figures, says that 98 per cent of people born in England still live there. Only 86 per cent of Scotsmen and 79 per cent of Welshmen stay in their native land.
