NZPA-Reuter Memphis. Tennessee The top seed. Jimmy Connors. overcame deficits in both sets vesterdav to defeat the fifth seed. Peter McNamara, of Australia. 7-6. 7-6. and advance to the final of the 5U5250.000 indoor national tennis champion-
ships. The 30-year-old Connors will be bidding for a record sixth indoor title today and the 545.000 first prize. His two-hour and 13 minute triumph over McNamara followed a hard fought 4-6. 61, 7-6 win over Eliot Teltscher in the quarterfinals.
