Wool sale nets nearly $10 million
PA Timaru Proceeds from the sale of 26,341 bales of greasy wool at the fourth Timaru sale of the 1982-83 season (February 4) totalled $9,965,200, according to the South Canterbury Woolbrokers’ and Stock and Station Agents Association. At the corresponding sale last year, 29,531 bales were sold, realising $11,575,208.
