Meat, Wool Boards nominations
PA Wellington Three nominations have been received for two vacancies as producers’ representatives on the Meat Producers Board, according to the returning officer, Mr M. W. Calder. The nominations are: Messrs J. L. Daniell (Masterton), D. J. Frith (Wellsford), and N. D. Mcßae (Wyndham). An election will be held in .Wellington on March 23. when the electoral committee holds its annual meeting with the Meat Board. Messrs Daniell and Mcßae are sitting members.
Five nominations were received to fill an extraordinary vacancy on the Wool Board. The candidates are: Messrs J. W. Henderson, a farmer, of Winton; D. E. Le Lievre, a farmer, of Pokeno, South Auckland; W. G. McCone, a farmer, of Oamaru; P. G. Morrison, a farmer, of Darfield; and G. P. Murfitt, a farmer, of Pahiatua. The election will also be held at the next meeting of the Meat and Wool Boards’ electoral committee on March 22 to 24.
