Brian Fowler excluded
Strong doubts about the availability of Brian Fowler have led to his exclusion, at this stage, from the Canterbury track cycling team for the Healing national championships at Wanganui early in March. Fowler has not raced in Christchurch since crashing in the South Island madison championship on January 30. He suffered a back injury in the crash, but has been to the North Island for some racing with the squad which is meant to go to Europe at the end of this month. There is some doubt about that now. Should Fowler be in NewZealand. and injury-free, he could probably still find a place in the team, however.
