Hold-up cash found
NZPA New York Federal Bureau of Investigation agents yesterday began counting 27 kg of banknotes found in a plastic garbage bag at the home of the father-in-law of a suspect in an SUSII million armoured car company hold-up — America's biggest cash robbery. The bills, which ranged in denominations up to $lOO, were found on Tuesday at the Westport. Connecticut, home of Thomas Skiadas,
father-in-law of Demetrios Papadakos. Papadakos, aged 35, is one of four men under arrest and charged with the robbery at Sentry-Armored Car-Courier on December 12. At the week-end arraignment of another suspect in the case, Papadakos’ cousin. Eddie Argitakos, aged 23, a Government prosecutor said that the Sentry bandits had packed the loot into six trash bags and stashed them at an unknown place.
