Reid not playing
PA Auckland The Auckland cricket captain. John Reid, last evening failed a fitness test and will not play in the Shell Trophy match against Otago which starts in Dunedin tomorrow.
Steve Adams, of Takapuna, will take Reid's place, who strained a calf muscle in the match against Northern Districts. John Mclntyre will lead Auckland in their last Shell Series match of the season.
