Task force clears path
PA Auckland The police task force was called to Queen Street on Saturday evening to break up a crowd of youths who were blocking the passage of pedestrians. “People just could not get past." said Senior-Sergeant A. plaints from cinemas. The police say they have noted recently' the emergence of two 60-strong groups of youths aged between 13 and 17. They filled Qiieen Street in the late evening and sometimes accosted people. , The police say that the youths. who congregate round two video games parlours, have grown in number recently.
