Alarm system improved
PA Auckland Rodger Anderson, whose electrical store in Mount Roskill has been burgled for the seventh time in 12 months, said he considers the alarm system in his premises is infallible. “Every time (the store is burgled) we improve security,” said Mr Anderson, the owner of Anderson Electrical, Ltd. "It is a bit depressing.”
The latest raid had a happy ending for Mr Anderson, however. When he arrived at the store a police dog handler was holding two men. “I felt pretty upset as I drove over to the shop, but I felt better when I saw that dog had cornered two sheepish-looking men," he said. Two men appeared in the District Court at Auckland in connection with the burglary.
