Medical services
Sir,—Dr W. Pryor needs reminding of two things. First, the Minister of Health himself said of his committee that its chairman had run the largest private health institution in the country and all members were private sector people. (“The Press.” December 21.) Second, the Hospital Board’s resolution expressing grave concern over the deferment' of Stage 3, rejecting the need for a committee and criticising the composition of the committee was carried unanimously, the concern of members being solely for the future hospital services for the people of Canterbury. Political affiliations were far from members’ minds.—Yours, etc..
TOM McGUIGAN. December 24, 1982.
