Royal itinerary announced
PA Wellington The Prince and Princess of Wales will stay in Auckland except for brief overnight stops in Wellington and Christchurch during their New Zealand tour in April. When they visit other centres they will return to Auckland each day. Their two-week visit will also take them to the Wairarapa, Wanganui, Gisborne, Tauranga, Dunedin, and the Bay of Islands.
The Prime Minister, Mr Muldoon, released details of the itinerary yesterday. Government House, Auckland, will be the Royal couple’s base.
