Expulsion brief
PA Wellington The National Party backbencher. Mr N. P. H. Jones (Invercargill), was briefly expelled from Parliament on Friday by the Speaker. Sir Richard Harrison. He was asked to leave the chamber by Sir Richard after he had called twice for members to show some sense of propriety in the House. After Mr Jones had again interjected, he was asked to leave the House until the end of the period set aside for members to table notices of motion. He was back in the House after about five minutes.
