Dr Nyerere praises P.M.
PA Wellington The Tanzanian president, Dr Julius Nyerere, has praised the Prime Minister, Mr Muldoon, for his moves to have the international monetary system reformed, according to Wellington’s “Evening Post" newspaper. It quoted from a letter to
Mr Muldoon from Dr Nyerere. The Tanzanian president was greatly encouraged, it said, to know that Mr Muldoon at least had the imagination to guess from New Zealand’s problems something of the even greater difficulties black African countries faced.
